processed ProTech EVO+
You've just revealed the shine of your vehicle with our EVO+ Paint Treatment. You now have a shiny car that is easier to maintain aesthetically thanks to this technology.
However, this state-of-the-art process requires that you follow the usual car wash precautions and use the right products to ensure the performance of the EVO+ Treatment over time.
Basic precautions
1°/ DO NOT WASH YOUR VEHICLE FOR 72 HOURS AFTER THE TREATMENT.
2°/ Never wipe the dirt directly with a microfiber or any other cloth without a suitable product/shampoo. Frequent use of aggressive washing methods can dull the surface and damage your treatment.
3°/ When you wash your car, never let the water dry on your bodywork, especially in hot weather. You risk letting lime marks form.
4°/ Although the treatment slows down the attack of droppings, insect traces or resin, never delay in removing them.
5°/ Never wash or use products in direct sunlight. The temperature of your bodywork will make them evaporate too quickly: they will lose their effectiveness and some will even leave traces.
Water cleaning
the most appropriate way
The easiest way to wash is with our ProTech® MC Concentrated Body Shampoo supplied. If you use a high pressure jet, avoid using the brushes provided.
For a more thorough wash you can use the PROTECH® CARROSSING SHAMPOO and GLOVE supplied with the Procase.
1°/ Prepare a bucket of clean water and a bucket of shampoo.
2°/ Wet and clean the whole vehicle with a shampooed glove.
3°/ Rinse the whole vehicle with the water hose - high pressure jet.
4°/ Dry your vehicle with the YELLOW or RED microfibre wiper provided.
TIP: In a high-pressure washing station: Soak your glove or sponge in water and pour a few drops of shampoo directly onto the sponge. Scrub.
Waterless cleaning
the most practical way
ProTech® EVO+ Paint Treatment can be maintained without water using the WATERLESS CLEANING and MICROFIBRES supplied with the Procase.
Without a drop of water, you can wash and polish any protected surface with our EVO+ Paint Treatment. The Waterless Cleaning spray has been formulated to coat the dirt and allow the surface to be cleaned without any risk. It also saves an average of 200L of drinking water per wash compared to a conventional wash.
1 °/ Be sure to use clean microfibers. They must be cleaned in the washing machine after each use.
2°/ Spray the product directly on the part of the bodywork to be cleaned.
Ideally work in areas of 50cm * 50cm.
3°/ Wipe the product with the clean blue microfibre to remove the dirt.
4°/ Shine the surface with a second microfibre to obtain a streak-free result.
SUPPLEMENTARY CARE
SUITABLE FOR BOTH WASHING METHODS
Insect Cleaner
Thanks to the EVO+ technology, insects are easily removed by the high-pressure jet.
However, if some insects are still present, you can use the insect cleaner:
1 °/ Work in the shade, on a cold and dry surface.
2 °/ Spray Insect Cleaner and let it react for a few minute.
3 °/ Rinse with garden hose or high pressure jet.
NEVER WIPE INSECT REMOVER ON THE BODYWORK WITH A
Microfiber. If needed, use a sponge with a bit of insect cleanser on it.
Tag Remover
Anti-Tar can be used without any problem on a ProTech® EVO+ treated vehicle.
1 °/ Spray Tar Remover on a small area, out of the sun, on a cold and dry surface.
2 °/ DO NEVER WIPE TAR REMOVER WITH A
Microfiber. If necessary, use a sponge to apply Anti-tar.
3 °/ Rinse with clean water.
Glue and Resin Remover
The Anti Resin and Glue can be used on a ProTech® EVO+ treated vehicle.
1 °/ Spray Glue and Resin Remover on a small area, out of the sun, on a cold and dry surface.
2 °/ DO NEVER WIPE GLUE AND RESIN REMOVER WITH A
Microfiber. If necessary, use a sponge to apply Anti-resin and glue.
3 °/ Rinse with clean water.
Wheel Rim
To clean your rims, use Wheel Rim Cleaner (except on chrome-plated, anodized or polished rims):
1 °/ Spray Wheel Rim Cleaner on the four cold and dry rims
2 °/ Rinse abundantly with garden hose or high pressure jet
For specific rims (chrome-plated, anodized and polished) use Laserwash®:
1 °/ Spray Laserwash® on a rim
2 °/ Clean with a first microfiber
3° / Use a second clean microfiber for a shiny, streak-free result
Renovate Locally
Using Repair Spray
Following a particular aggression or a bad handling, your Treatment can lose its anti-adhesive effect locally. It can be revived with the REPAIR SPRAY and the MICROFIBRES supplied with the Procase.
1 °/ Be sure to use clean microfibers. They must be cleaned in the washing machine after each use.
2°/ The area to be repaired must be clean, dry and cold.
2°/ Spray Repair Spray directly on the part of the bodywork to be treated.
Ideally work in areas of 50cm * 50cm.
3°/ Spread the product with the blue microfiber.
4°/ Wipe the surface with the red microfiber to remove any traces and finalize the application.
What to avoid!
You can clean your vehicle at any high-pressure car wash, but you must take certain precautions.
1°/ Never use the brushes provided.
Preferably use a sponge or a ProTech® MC wash glove.
2°/ Solvents and corrosive detergents should be avoided.
3°/ Roller washes are forbidden: the additives and the condition of the rotating brushes can damage the painted surfaces. It is accepted that 10 roller washes streak automotive paints.
